Profile & Background

Born in Jersey, Stuart has been working within the building services industry, primarily electrical engineering, for over 20 years. Stuart was educated at de la Salle College and completed his apprenticeship with one of the largest electrical contractors in the Channel Islands where he was lead engineer on a number of projects. Stuart joined Jersey Energy and has developed his skills in both electrical and mechanical design for a variety of projects including, domestic, residential, commercial and industrial installations throughout the Channel Islands.

Stuart was awarded a Distinction for his Masters Degree in Building Services Engineering through the University of London South Bank, won the JeCC award for Outstanding Achievement in Construction Studies by obtaining the highest grades ever achieved at Highlands College and was awarded the prestigious Jersey Construction Council Industry Achiever of the year 2012. Stuart is a lecturer at University College Jersey where he teaches Building Services and Environmental Science on the degree programme and currently mentors our trainee engineers.
